All my honey comes from the beehives which I keep in the BT26 (Hillsborough) area of Northern Ireland. My honey is unprocessed, meaning it hasn’t been heated, blended, homogenised or treated to remove any of its natural properties. It is not adulterated with corn syrup or any product to bulk it out. What you get is honey extracted to a very high standard (I do not sell honey which is fermenting, or partially granulated) – I have won several 1st prizes at the Bristol Honey Show (cut comb, frame ready for extraction, novice class).
In spring 2021 I moved from Bristol to Hillsborough. Due to the vagaries of Brexit, I was unable to bring my bees and had to sell up. Thankfully, I was able to purchase 2 small nucs and, with moderate success in queen rearing, I am back up to 5 colonies going into the autumn. Nevertheless, it has been a productive year honey-wise and I have local honey available for sale.

NB I do not have any cut comb available at present – see above link for my current availabilities

As my honey is not blended, one batch of honey will be different from the next, reflecting the bee’s forage for the time of year it was harvested – the photo below shows honey extracted from my different apiaries in spring 2019.

I also produce award-winning cut comb honey from my hives in BT26. This is taken straight out of the hive so you get a lovely piece of honeycomb (all of which is edible) produced by the bees.

NB – honey is available for collection only (I live in BT26): I do not post honey,
